Lanes will NOT be dressed with a house condition

A more Challenging Condition will be used for this event

$500 First Place Scholarship (based on 45 entries)

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
All entrants will bowl a five-game qualifying round

The top 80% of the field (up to a maximum of 34 qualifiers) will advance to the Survival Round

After each game of the Survival Round,
four bowlers will be eliminated from the tournament as follows:

The two bowlers with the lowest scores (in the game just completed), plus
The two bowlers with the lowest overall total pinfall for the day (at that point)

In the event there is a tie for low game, all tied bowlers will be eliminated

Optional BEST Bracket Competition
A Fully-Paid entry for the 2018 (or 2019) BEST Tournament will be awarded

ADDITIONAL SURVIVAL TOURNAMENT RULES

This is a scratch tournament open to all male and female bowlers who were 21 years of age
or younger as of August 1, 2017. PBA members are not permitted to bowl.

Competition starts at 12:00 NOON. Walk-in entries will be accepted as space permits.

Entry fee for the tournment is $60. Entry fee if paid prior to the date of the tournament is $55.

Scholarship prizes will be awarded based on the final standings of the tournament. Bowlers eliminated in the same round will be placed in the final standings based on their total pinfall for the tournament.
There will be at least one scholarship prize awarded for every six participants.
