QUALIFYING ROUNDS: All entrants will bowl 12 games (two 6-game blocks) on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Squads begin at 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. All bowlers must compete in both squads. Thirty-two bowlers will qualify for the double-elimination finals of the tournament. The top four female bowlers and the top four male bowlers will qualify for the finals, along with the next twenty-four bowlers, regardless of sex.

FINALS: The 32 qualifying bowlers will return on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Bowlers will compete in a two-game match against another bowler with the winner of each match being determined based on the total pinfall of the two games bowled. After each round, opponents will change and a new two-game match will be held. Bowlers will remain in competition until he/she loses their second two-game match, at which time, he/she shall be eliminated from the tournament. After five rounds of matches, six bowlers will remain (one of which will be undefeated). These bowlers will then advance to a modified step-ladder with the undefeated bowler being the top-seed and the other bowlers being placed based on their total pinfall.

ENTRY FEE: $115 per bowler for entries paid by August 8, 2018. Entry fee for bowlers paid after August 8, 2018 is $125. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in entries will be accepted at the tournament as space permits.

ELIGIBILITY: Bowlers 21 years-of-age or less as of August 1, 2017 are permitted to bowl in this event. PBA members are not permitted to bowl. THIS IS A SCRATCH TOURNAMENT.

DRESS CODE: All bowlers must wear shirts with collars and sleeves. Mock neck shirts from tournament sponsors only will be permitted. Neat, clean shorts (NOT jean cut-offs or basketball shorts) are permitted. Bowlers are not permitted to wear hats or other headgear, ripped or torn clothing, clothing with offensive language or graphics, or any apparel which the tournament director feels is inappropriate.

CHECK-IN and drawing for lane assignments will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 11, 2018.

This tournament is open to bowlers who were 21 years of age or less as of August 1, 2017 and average 175 or lower. PBA members are not permitted to participate. THIS IS A SCRATCH TOURNAMENT.

AVERAGES: Only those bowlers with an average of 175 or lower for the 2017-18 AND the 2016-17 bowling season (for 21 games or more) are eligible for this event. Bowlers who have a Junior Bowlers Tour average (for at least 21 games) will use that average as of May 23, 2018 to determine eligibility. All other bowlers will use their HIGHEST final league average for the 2017-18 or the 2016-17 season to determine eligibility. Bowlers must bring a final league standings sheet to verify average or they WILL NOT BE PERMITTED to enter this event.

QUALIFYING ROUND: All entrants will bowl 6 games on Saturday, August 11, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. The top eight bowlers will qualify for the double-elimination match-play finals of the tournament.

FINALS (Immediately following qualifying round): The eight qualifying bowlers will compete in a one-game match against another bowler. After each game, opponents will change and a new match will take place. Bowlers will remain in competition until he/she loses a second match, at which time he/she will be eliminated from the tournament. After three rounds of matches, four bowlers will remain (one of which will be undefeated). These bowlers will then advance to a modified step-ladder with the undefeated bowler being the top-seed and the other bowlers being placed based on their total pinfall.

The entry fee is $65 per bowler for entries paid by August 8, 2018. Entry fee for bowlers paid after August 8, 2018 is $75. Entries will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Walk-in entries will be accepted at the tournament as space permits.

Scholarships will be awarded based on the final standings of the tournament. One scholarship prize will be awarded for each four participants. The first place scholarship prizes is GUARANTEED at $500.
